It’s a workshop with a difference – we teach you about Ecology and you do the Exploration!  What’s really living in your backyard?  Well, it’s time to find out.

We are proud that our SciWorld Science Club is workshop based.  We like to explore the world around us with you!

Vanessa is our own Ecology Expert.  She has run thousands (well, possibly!) of ecological tours and workshops. We are lucky to have such an experienced practitioner and teacher working with us!

So what do you get to do?  Well, you’ll get to find out how the different parts of an ecosystem rely on each other, and what role different living things play in a local catchment area.

The nitty gritty:

Meet at: McElligots Reserve carpark, off Brownhill Creek Road, Mitcham. (Just before the caravan park) on Saturday 21st November 2015.
1.50 PM – 4:00 PM
Wear and bring: Hat, water, and sunscreen. Fully enclosed shoes are essential. We will be capturing creatures from the creek, so be prepared to get a bit wet and muddy. Rubber boots are very strongly recommended.

Bring a friend or get a friend to join our Science Club!  With specialist workshops every month, you’ll get a whole world of science every year.  Membership $25 per child or $50 for the family!  See www.sciworld.org.au  for more details
